German retail sales fell in February
On a a yearly basis, German retail sales fell in February, contrary to the expected growth.
The turnover of the German retail companies in February was 1.0 percent less in nominal terms, while in real terms decline was 2.2 percent, compared to February 2012 – the German Federal Statistics Office, the Destatis announced on Thursday. Analysts expected an increase of 0.4 percent in real terms. (MTI)
