Online Retail Index was down
According to the GKI Digital – arukereso.hu Online Retail Index survey, online retailers hope for a 15-percent expansion from last year’s HUF 133-billion turnover. They are optimistic despite the fact that the six biggest sectors in online retail realised sales in the value of HUF 27 billion in the first three months of 2014, performing 45 percent worse than in the last quarter of 2013. Online retailers are also more hopeful about the Hungarian economy in general than traditional retailers.
