Eurozone’s inflation declined in August
The rise in euro area consumer prices has slowed in August from the five-and-a-half year peak – according to Eurostat’s final data published on Monday by the European Union’s statistical office.
According to Eurostat’s final estimate, in August, eurozone inflation declined to 2.0 percent from the 2.1 percent of July, which was a five-and-a-half year peak.
In the European Union, inflation declined to 2.1 percent in August from the 2.2 percent of July. (MTI)
