Euro area’s foreign trade surplus decreased
In November, the euro area foreign trade surplus decreased and the foreign trade surplus of the European Union became deficit after the previous year’s surplus.
The European Union’s Statistical Office, Eurostat, announced on Tuesday that in November the euro area’s 19 Member States exported goods in a value of 203 billion euros, 1.9 percent more than in November 2017. Imports rose by 4.7 percent to 184 billion euros. (MTI)
