Food production in decline
Industrial production was up by 5,9 per cent in October 2007 compared to the same month in 2006. According to KSH data, the volume of production was 8,6 per cent higher in the first ten months of the year, than in the same period a year ago. Production of food, beverages and tobacco show a year on year decrease of 5,6 per cent.
