Food product import reduced

In the first six months the volume of export increased by 18 percent from the base period and import also grew, by 15 percent. KSH’s quick report also reveals that our trade balance surplus was HUF 777 billion – HUF 306 billion more than in the same period of 2009. The value of our export was HUF 9,225 billion and import was worth HUF 8,448 billion. The volume of food, beverage and tobacco product import was below the level of January-June 2009 (export slightly surpassed the same level).
