Audi Hungaria Zrt.’s sales revenue decreased in 2024
Audi Hungaria Zrt. achieved sales of 8.611 billion euros (3,426.7 billion forints) in 2024, which is 491 million euros (195.4 million forints) less than in 2023.
The company stated in response to MTI’s request that last year the result of their operating activities was 368 million euros (146.4 billion forints), while in 2023 this result reached 352 million euros (140 billion forints). Its after-tax result was 304 million euros (120.9 billion forints), compared to the profit of 354 million euros (140.8 billion forints) achieved in 2023.
Audi Hungaria writes in its statement that the company invested 340 million euros (135.3 billion forints) last year. The main investment projects were the preparation of the new generation of electric drives, the MEBeco, for series production, and the preparation of the production of the successor model of the Audi Q3.
Since the company was founded in 1993, a total of 12.9 billion euros (5,133.5 billion forints) have been invested at the site.
Last year, the company produced 1,580,991 drivetrains at the Győr site, 79,434 fewer than in 2023. Of the engines produced, 151,899 were electric.
In 2024, 179,710 vehicles rolled off the assembly line (including SKD production), which is 1,935 more than in the previous year. Of the vehicles, 99,288 Audi Q3, 63,759 Audi Q3 Sportback and, from September 2024, 16,663 Cupra Terramar were produced.
At the end of last year, Audi Hungaria employed 11,431 people, and together with the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Audi Hungaria Ahead Kft., they employed 11,930 people.
