German retail sales decreased
Contrary to the expectations of the retail sales fell in July in Germany.
According to the figures, published by the statistics office, In July the Germans bought 0.9 percent less in real terms, compared to June while analysts expected a 0.2 percent increase. On an annual comparision, decline was 1 percent.
In the first seven months in nominal terms increase was 2.7 percent, while in real terms 0.6 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. (MTI Eco, Világgazdaság Online)
