Metro’s profit decreased
Metro AG reported lower second quarter results than expected.
However, the German company reported that revenues increased, due to the growing consumption during the Football World Cup, which increased the television sales in the Media Markt and Saturn stores, in Europe's largest electronics shop network.
The stabilization of Eastern European currencies also improved the results – said Eckhard Cordes, Chairman and CEO – reports ProfitLine.hu.
