The growth rate of air freight and passenger traffic has declined in the first half of the year
The growth of air freight and passenger traffic has slowed in the first half of the year. In passenger kilometres the growth was 7 percent, compared to a 8.3 percent rate of last year, according to the latest data of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
According to a statement sent to MTI, the slowdown is due to the rise in ticket prices that occur due to the rising kerosene prices. (MTI)
