Retail sales declined in the EU and in the euro zone on a monthly basis
Retail sales declined in the European Union by 0.4 percent and in the Euro Zone by 0.2 percent in October, compared with the previous month.
Compared with October 2012, retail sales increased in the European Union by 0.5 percent and declined in the Euro Zone by 0.1 percent – shows Eurostat's first estimate on Wednesday.
In September,in the Euro Zone, a 0.6 percent decline in the EU 28 Member States a 0.4 percent decline was recorded on a monthly comparision. (The datas were calendar effect adjusted.) (MTI)
