Decreasing profits at Avon
Avon's profits fell significantly in the third quarter, because of the increase in production costs, and due to the unfavorable foreign exchange rates.
The market leader in direct selling of cosmetics announced on Thursday that he after-tax profit was 31 million USD, 7 cents per share between June to September this year, after last year’s 164 million USD and 38 cents per share result.
The sales turnover was 2.55 billion USD, compared to last year’s 2.76 billion USD. (MTI, Világgazdaság Online)
