The utilization of local hotels improved beside decreasing hotel room rates
The utilization of Hungarian hotels improved in June on national level, while the gross average room rates declined – told the Hungarian Association of Hotels and Restaurants (MSZÉSZ) told MTI.
On the basis of the latest analysis of STR Global; the fact that euro-forint exchange rates was 270.20 HUF in June 2011, compared to last June's 281.16 HUF made a major role in the reduction of the room rates, ergo forint's rate strenghtened by 3.9 percent. This put a negative impacted on the hotel prices and incomes of June – reports MTI.
