Q3 Profits Flat At Coca-Cola Hellenic
Greek bottling company Coca-Cola Hellenic has reported a third-quarter profit that was flat on the year at E213m, but the company reiterated its full-year forecasts. CCH said sales volume rose 4% year-on-year to 610 million cases during the quarter.
Last month, the company had cut its 2008
profit and volume targets for the second time this year, blaming
economic downturn and bad weather in key markets. However, it has now
noted, “EBIT growth, whilst stable compared with last year's very
strong quarter, has improved over the preceding quarter as we benefit
from our cost-cutting and price initiatives".
