Rauch facing a significant growth despite deteroriating market facilities
As a result of this season's fruit processing, Rauch has processed 80 thousand tons of Hungarian fruit – the company announced within the compass of their press conference on 12th November.
Approximately 80 percent of this cinsisted of apple, moreover the processing of peach, apricot, elderberry, currant and cherry is outstanding, too.
CEO and owner Jürgen Rauch was present at the press conference, and reviewed the history of the company. With the turnover of 669 million euros in the year 2009, the Rauch Group is the biggest producer of fruit juices and tea beverages in Austria at the same time being one of the juice market leaders worldwide. Rauch, together with its brewery Fohrenburg, has over 1400 employees and it exports its products to over 90 countries.

Gábor Kardos, president of Rauch Hungária Ltd. summarized the fact that the company is about to face a dynamic growth: even though the fruit juice and ice tea market sees a significant decrease in 2009-2010, Rauch managed to increase both domestic and international sales. Rauch Hungária's turnover in 2010 is expected to reach 17.3 billion HUF, which is 5% higher than last year's 16.5 billion HUF. Gábor Kardos pointed out the fact that Rauch has invested more than 15 billion HUF in Hungary throughout the past 17 years.
