In addition to falling staff numbers, baths sales increased last year
Total net sales of spa companies in Hungary increased by 9.1 percent, and revenues from bath services by 7.5 percent compared to 2017, while the average number of employees in the bath services decreased by 3.5 percent in one year.
According to the 2018 sectoral analysis of the Hungarian Bathing Association sent to the MTI, labor shortages in Hungarian baths have continued, and most baths cannot keep up with wage increases in the labor market. (MTI)
