Decreasing traffic, but a positive operating balance for the confectionery group Manner
In the first half of the year, the Austrian confectionery group's turnover fell by 1.1 percent, especially because of the decline in Eastern European sales. In the second half of the year they are expecting an increase.
The operation rate had a positive balance, because the price of some raw materials needed for production has decreased such as peanuts and milk, and this is offset the increase of chocolate, the fat and energy.
The company expects an improvement for the rest of the year, but probably the price of some important raw materials like nuts, fats and dairy products, will increase – reports MTI-Eco.
