Hotel VAT reducing?

The government and the Ministry of Finance will start discussions about reducing the VAT rate for accommodation service providers next week.

The
declining profitability of the Hungarian hotel sector is reason in itself to implement
this cut, and the secretary of state said he is counting on the hoteliers
assistance in the lobbying process. Statistics and background information would
also help in the negotiations.
