Global wheat crops may decline
The unexpected April heat stress can affect yields negatively in Scandinavian countries in the northern areas of Germany, in Poland and in the Baltic States.
According to the experts of the French market research company Tallage, farmers in the member states of the EU can harvest 140 million tons of wheat in the coming weeks. This volume is nearly 2 million tonnes less than in 2017 – agrarszektor.hu wrote.
