Demand for alcoholic beverages is reducing in Slovakia
The sales of alcoholic drinks in Slovakia decreased continuously by 12 percent in ten years, and more than 21 percent in 20 years – reported the Hospodárské Noviny daily on Friday, referring to the datas of the Slovakian Statistical Office.
According to the latest results, Slovaks consume an average less than 95 liters of alcoholic beverages per year per person. This data was more than 120 liters in 1992.
Mostly the beer consumption decreased. While 20 years ago, the average annual beer consumption in Slovakia was more than 90 liters per person, last year it was only 70 liters.
