Online retailers in the EU are about to become more competitive
As of 1 July 2021 the European Union will end the 22-euro import VAT exemption of the goods that are purchased from non-EU sellers. This step means that import VAT will be applicable on all imported goods valued below EUR 150. This is really good news for EU-based e-commerce businesses, who will see their competitive disadvantage reduce against Far East based online shops selling cheap products. //
