The agricultural production decreases this year, compared to 2008
According to Kopint-Tárki and Agrár-Európa Tanácsadó Ltd.’s Agrármonitor; this year's production level is expected to be 10-12 percent below compared to last year's outstanding value.
Producer prices also decreased in the first eight months of 2009, by an average of 20 percent compared to last year. The shrinkage of the Hungarian food market also continued. Through the first eight months of the year it was 3.4 percent below the 2008 market size – reports Világgazdaság Online.
