The size of 7Days Mini Croissants is reduced
According to the latest food industry news, a change is expected in the market for the popular 7Days mini croissants. Based on Telex’s information, on June 15, the packaging reduction page of the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) announced that the packaging of 7Days mini croissants and 7Days Doub!e Max mini croissants will be reduced in the near future.
In the case of both products, the usual 200-gram packaging is changed to 185 grams. This package reduction represents a reduction of nearly 8%, which is a significant change for consumers. However, the information does not reveal whether the size of the croissants will be smaller as a result of the smaller packaging, or whether there will simply be fewer pieces in the package.
This move may be part of the more widely observed “shrinkflation” phenomenon, where the price of products remains the same while the size of the package shrinks. This is often done in response to rising production costs, without consumers experiencing a direct price increase.
The reduction in packaging is important information for consumers, as it can affect their purchasing decisions, especially for those who consume these products in large quantities. The exact date and further details of the changes are not yet known, but it is expected that further information will be received from the manufacturer and distributors in the coming weeks.
