Hey-Ho’s manufacturer requests bankruptcy protection
The manufacturer of Hey-Ho fruit juice, the First Hungarian Fruit Processing and Fruit Juice Manufacturing Inc. (Elma) asked for bankruptcy protection. The company has been profitable even in 2010,its turnover was more than three billion HUF.
The company was founded in 1992. According to its website, the company has been producing the Hey-Ho fruit juices for more than 20 years of which an annual 30 million liters are sold domestically and exported to sixteen countries.
The Elma beside producing has an orchard of 300 hectares, mainly growing apples. The company’s headquarters can be found in Érsekhalma, Bács-Kiskun county – Index.hu writes after gazdasag.hu.
