A wave of bankruptcies could destroy Hungarian poultry companies due to the coronavirus
A wave of bankruptcies could sweep through the domestic poultry sector due to the economic effects of the coronavirus pandemic – Bárány László, the founding owner of the Kisvárda-Nyírkércs-based Master Good group said in an interview with Deloitte Zrt. and agrarszektor.hu.
Businesses in the sector are expected to return to normal in late May-early June, but it will take at least six to ten months for normalization. According to Bárány László, due to the limited market opportunities, it would be expedient to consider financing the producer’s poultry surplus and the accumulated frozen poultry products.
