Thomas Cook, the oldest British travel agency, went bankrupt
The oldest British travel agent, Thomas Cook, which has hundreds of thousands of passengers, is now in bankruptcy and has now ceased operations in various resorts around the world.
According to joint information from the CAA and the UK Department of Transportation, the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Business, the CAA will immediately begin implementing its already-prepared Matterhorn contingency plan for the repatriation of nearly 160,000 British passengers abroad.
