Cerbona at the edge of bankruptcy
The Székesfehérvár-based Cerbona Co. will held a general meeting on the 10th of November. According to the management; several of its financing banks of the company's terminated the contracts. This is resulted in liquidity problems and the company may need bankruptcy protection.
Acccording to the datas of Opten; the turnover of the Hungarian-owned company decreased in the past years: the annual net revenue in 2007 approached to 13 billion HUF in 2009 it was about 10 billion HUF. The operating result turned negative only in 2008. The company employing 339 people had 6.8 billion in debt in 2009 – reports Index.
