Common mushroom and oyster mushroom are the most popular
Hungary’s mushroom production increased in the last decade: back in 2008 about 18,000 tons were grown, while in 2016 nearly 30,000 tons of mushrooms were produced – revealed a NAK report. 90 percent of this was common mushroom (agaricus) and 7-8 percent was oyster mushroom. 60 percent of this quantity was exported. There are 18-20 large and 300-400 small mushroom growing businesses in Hungary. //
