Cherry Conference 2014: The future belongs to the hybrids!
The cherry and sour cherry harvest is at full throttle at the Érd-based site of the Research Institute of Pomology of the National Agricultural Research Center, where experts gathered at an annual meeting. The objectives of this conference will be cross breeding, and the promising sweet and sour cherry hybrids will also be presented.
Another important theme of the conference was soil aeration, in particular with regard to its aspects of soil science. In addition the producers and professionals also exchanged their knowledge about prevention against parazites and infections and the treatments of hard-shell fruits.
