Retail sales grew by 1.6 percent in the Czech Republic in August
In the Czech Republic, retail sales grew 1.6 percent year-over-year in August after 1.8 percent in July. Monthly growth was 0.3 percent in August – the Czech Statistical Office announced in Prague on Thursday.
According to market analysts, this growth, which is close to stagnation but moderate, can be described as a good economic result. The data also indicate that households do not need to save too much for the time being. (Kokes János, MTI)
