Knuspr Joins Swiss Markant Network
Knuspr, the German-based online supermarket, has become the first pure online grocery retailer in Europe to join the Swiss Markant network.
The partnership, which begins in Germany, aims to streamline administrative processes and expand product offerings, marking a significant step in Knuspr’s growth strategy.
As part of the collaboration, Markant will handle centralized billing, payments, and supplier guarantees, significantly reducing Knuspr’s administrative burden. The company hopes this move will open doors to new suppliers, enhancing product variety and improving availability for customers.
Knuspr CEO Olin Novák stated that the financial flexibility gained through the partnership will be used to offer better prices and a stronger value proposition. “Better prices, broader selection, and enhanced availability” are the key goals, he emphasized. The company also plans to dedicate more time to working with regional partners such as organic farms, bakeries, and dairies.
While the cooperation starts in Germany, Knuspr—part of the Czech Rohlik Group—may expand the initiative to other European markets. Markant CEO Dominik Scheid described Knuspr as an innovative company that fits well into the network’s international partner structure.
