Nestlé Joins The European Clean Trucking Alliance
Nestlé has joined the newly-formed European Clean Trucking Alliance along with other European companies.
The coalition, launched today (15 July), aims to accelerate the decarbonisation of road freight transport in the EU, Nestlé said in its statement.
Other member organisations include NGOs, shippers, logistics and consumer goods companies.
The alliance has urged the governments of EU nations to invest and accelerate the transition to more eco-friendly transport.
The initiative will also help the EU in achieving the objectives of the European Green Deal, making it the first carbon-neutral continent.
