According to Csányi Sándor; the meat industry struggling for survival
The Hungarian food industry is in crisis. A lot of historical participants struggle for survival, or even lost the fight – said Csányi Sándor, owner of Pick Szeged Zrt. on Thursday.
Csányi – who is also president and CEO of OTP – would continue to expand in the food industry. He would buy the Sole-Mizo company in the dairy industry and would like to acquire the Herz Salami Factory. Csányi expects that the business policy, which has recently engaged in the Pick – trying to preserve natural hungarikums, traditional products and products developed with the technology changes – leads to results. It seems that the market will confirm this, because while the production and consumption is also generally decreases, Pick orders not only in Hungary but also in abroad increased by nearly 10 percent – reports Origo.hu.
