Almost four million peolple work part-time in Germany
Nearly four million people work part-time in Germany due to the coronavirus epidemic – according to a survey released on Tuesday.
Fourteen percent of the 7,600 employees surveyed by the Hans Böckler Foundation’s Institute for Economic and Social Research (WSI) have been converted to part-time work, which the institute estimates means that four million people work part-time in Germany, in the form of employment built to replace the part of the lost wages.
