Nearly 50 species of fish can be tasted at the Budapest Fish Festival

Gluttonous Thursday, Valentine's Day fish feast, live fish tutorial, fun fishing, fisherman’s soup cooking competition, hundreds of Hungarian and international seafood dishes, as well as some 50 species of fish await the visitors at the second Budapest Fish Festival, between 13 and 16 February in the garden of the National Museum.

“We would like to achieve to connect the garden of the National Museum to the colorful cultural life of Budapest, therefore we host such a diverse program, as the Budapest Fish Festival” – Csorba László, the Hungarian National Museum’s Director General said.

As part of the culinary programs a traditional cooking competition will also be held. The winner will be chosen on the basis of the visitor’s votes. (MTI)
