The producer price of the agricultural products increased by nearly 40 percent
According to the Central Statistical Office; the producer price level of agricultural products was 39.6 percent higher in January 2011, than a year ago. In particular, the price level of plant products increased by 57.6, the price level of live animals and animal products increased by 10.5 percent.
In January 2011, the producer price of cereals was 78.2 percent higher than in the same period of 2010. The purchase price of wheat has been continuously growing since April 2010 (28 200 HUF / ton), in January 2011 it was 63,900 HUF per tonne, which is a 17 percent increase, compared to the previous month.
