Online retail sales increased by nearly 30 percent of in the second quarter
The turnover of the six biggest online retail sector amounted to 35 billion HUF in the April to June period, 30 percent higher than the year's first quarter – according to a recent joint research of GKI Digital and Árukereső.hu.
The six largest sectors, together had a turnover of 62 billion HUF in the first six months, which is 41 percent of the expected annual turnover.
The largest share of online retail sales, 11.1 billion HUF was gave by the technical sector again, 20 percent is the share of computing and gaming product category', while the proportion of the sports and fashion accessory products is 11.7 percent, followed by the beauty, health product category with 9.1 percent and the home, garden category with 7.7 percent.
