The number of overnight stays in Romania increased dynamically
The number of overnight stays increased by almost 13 percent in Romania in the first quarter, compared to the same period of the last year – the Romanian national statistical institute announced.
In the analyzed period tourists spent 3.629 million guest nights in the Romanian commercial accommodations, which is a 12.9 percent increase, compared to the first three months of last year.
The contribution of foreign tourists to the Romanian tourism remains unchanged for years. About 20 percent of the guest nioghts are spent by foreign tourists in Romania. (MTI)
