Almost 1200 restaurants joined to Gluttonous Thursday action

Since beginning the program in 2006, the number of restaurants more than doubled from the first year's 499. On 26th February 1194 Hungarian restaurants give 0% off the dining bill.

 The restaurants were asked to fullfill
a questionary
about theire last years experiences. The
responders hospitaled 80,000 guest in 2008. One third of them took
part in every year.

Last year on Gluttonous Thursday
180,000 were eaten outside. 92% of them said they will soon return to
the restaurant, 98% promissed to offer it to their friends. Last
years gluttonous guest were satisfied with the rules, the quality of
food and drinks. The mood got also high points.

83,9 % of the restaurant owners said
the number of guests was high over an average February day, the daily
income was for 53,4% higher as normal. Most of them waited an average
sales increase after taking part in Gluttonous Thursday program.
