Dairy producers can only receive help on national level
Hungary will take all steps that the EU rules allow, to cure the problems of the dairy sector – said Gráf József Minister of Agriculture after failed to agree on a common EU action at the ministerial meeting.
Gráf József do not expect that the standpoint of the European Commission will soften for October, when the Member States shall make the final decision on the proposed measures to recover the dairy sector. Brussels still insists on the gradual increase in production quotas and the abolition in 2015, despite sixteen Member States – including Hungary – requires provisional and protective measures – reports Világgazdaság Online.
