Áder János Presidents considers the increase of the size of irrigated agricultural land as inevitable, however clean water should only be drilled to the extent that nature can replace.
Áder János highlighted numerous international examples of the risks of the over-exploitation of water, emphasizing that irrigation can only be carried out in a sustainable, verifiable way. The level of groundwater in Hungary is constantly decreasing, so it does matter how much water we take – he told Kossuth Rádió. (MTI)
