The previous level of air passenger traffic in Europe may return only in 2024
The organisation’s statement wrote that in June, far fewer than expected, 16.8 million passengers were handled at European airports, which is a 93 percent drop, compared last year’s level. Although 267,000 passengers were registered daily at the beginning of June and 757,000 by the end of the month, this is still negligible compared to the average daily traffic of 8 million of a year earlier.
