Coop: a single image and the prioritization of local products
The Coop stores are developing a uniform image all across the country. The change affects the appearance and attributions as well.
The Kop-Ka Zrt. opened the first Coop model shop in 2010. This company will complete the store renewal program this year. Six stores are remaining out of 32. The appearance of fresh carcass meat and fresh bakery are the most important internal changes. Priority is given to the distribution of local crops and products. The bread is transported from their own bakery, the meat comes from the slaughterhouse of a nearby village – Kajdacs. They seek to create transparency, spaciousness and the comfort conditions of purchase. (W.G., Világgazdaság Online)
