Coop Group: 510 billion HUF revenue last year
According to preliminary datas; Despite the difficult economic conditions, Coop Group's turnover increased by around 2 percent on current price, last year – said Murányi László, CEO of Coop Hungary Zrt., to MTI.
Murányi László said, that according to preliminary datas, the Coop Group reached slightly more than 510 billion HUF revenue in 2009.
More than 80 percent of the group's turnover comes from food retail, while the remaining fraction is from wholesale trade activity. The Coop Group now operates about 3,000 Coop stores nationwide. In addition, the group integrates 2,000 additional stores, without Coop logo. Coop's market share in the Hungarian food retail, is around 14-14,5 percent – said Murányi László.
