Hungarian bred fruits perform well in Chile
The Magyar Kertészeti Szaporítóanyag Nonprofit Kft. (MKSZN) presented the latest bred cherries and cherry types of at this year’s cherry and sour cherry meeting in the Elvira Major in Érd.
The fruits achieved great success in Hungary and abroad as well. Apostol János, the expert of the Magyar Kertészeti Szaporítóanyag Nonprofit Kft. (MKSZN) (Hungarian Horticultural Propagation Office) also helps to organize the breeding in Chile.
In the South American climate the Alex Hungarian bred variety is the most successful, while In Hungary the Magda became the new favorite, which is mellow, ripening earlier and does not crack.
