Chaine World Youth Chef Championship in Budapest
After 2015, the Chaine World Junior Chef Championship will be held again in Hungary, which is rightly considered the anteroom of the Bocuse d’Or. The details of the competition were presented at a press conference on September 30 by the Hungarian Chaine Association.
After several rounds, the Hungarian application submitted for holding the 2024 World Youth Chef Championship was declared the winner by the General Assembly of the Chaine des Rotisseurs World Organization held in Paris – again after 2015 – so the competition can be held in Hungary again.
As a prominent professional partner, METRO Wholesale provides the venue of the competition, the METRO Gastro Academy, as well as the high-quality raw materials for the competition. Ákos Bősze, head of HoReCa business development at METRO Nagykereskelim, emphasized that the Chaine World Youth Chef Championship is also an outstanding event of METRO Nagykereskelim’s 30-year jubilee event series. By cooperating in the organization of the world competition, wholesale trade, which is the marketplace of gastronomy, takes a role in the professional development of young chefs.
