A donation instead of a corporate gift: foodora put a twist on the Christmas tradition
More than 1,300 families in need will receive food, and the patients of Ronald Házak will receive toys and books as part of foodora’s charity campaign. This year, the company used the budget for company gifts for charitable purposes, and all Hungarian companies are encouraged to do the same.
Christmas is also a time for corporate gifts, and this year foodora, the leader in fast food retailing in Hungary, has broken with this tradition. At the end of 2023, the company supplemented the traditional partnership gifts and turned it over to donations, at the same time encouraging all Hungarian companies to do so.
“We are also very happy about the surprises, we usually receive a lot of beautiful and sophisticated gifts at this time, but we feel that this amount has a better place elsewhere. We encourage all companies to break with the usual traditions and spend this money on those for whom even the smallest gesture can mean the world.”
– shared Zsolt Szauter from foodora.
