CBA: no mandatory price in case of melon
The Ministry of Rural Development (VM), at the “watermelon round table” did not impose mandatory price for the fruit – told Fodor Attila, communications director of the CBA supermarket chain to MTI on Tuesday.
He added that at the fortnightly held meeting, Budai Gyula, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Rural Development drew the attention of the traders, to buy melon from Hungarian melon farmers, if it is possible. In addition, when pricing, show restraint at the beginning of the season. However, there was no mention about fixed price – said Fodor Attila.
