Café Rotana

This café and tea room opened a few months ago near Lake Feneketlen in Budapest, without prior market survey – and it does pretty well. The owners are a Syrian-Hungarian couple, who would like to popularise the Near East style of catering, based on a well-proven concept: serving excellent tea and coffee, cocktails and beers, characteristically Arabic sandwiches and bongs. Guests are mostly in their 30s-40s in this cosy, eastern-style interior. Hot meals will be served form November.
