Furniture Federation: homemaking discount boosted thefurniture market
According to the Hungarian Furniture and Wood Industry Federation, the furniture market has recovered from the crisis in 2008. The family homemaking discount (csok) boosted the industry.
Cselényi Krisztina, the secretary general of the Federation told MTI that they would not expect a major downturn in the Hungarian furniture market in the next eighteen months, as in 2018 the expected gross growth will be 3 percent, for 2019 a 2 percent growth and for 2020 a 1 percent increase is expected in purchases.
